SEBASTIAN DERWISINSKI

I am adventurous, creative, enthusiastic digital media producer with background in theatre and culture studies. I am friendly artist producing video, digital photography and I am also familiar with customizing websites based on Joomla or Wordpress Templates. I am enthusiast of internet marketing and special effects in film. I studied in Institute of Literature, Film and Theatre in Poland for five years, where I received the Master Degree in Art. I continued my passion for media taking three years course in Video Production and Film Studies in London. My interest in creating media started when I was a child. Since then I have been developing my knowledge and skills. I believe this industry involves instant learning and growing and there are lots of things to cover if you want to be proficient in producing digital media and multi-skilled as I hope to be in the future. I keep up to date with recent technologies and practices. I have fair amount of experience producing different genres and styles of media. I have the biggest experience as a cinematographer, editor and producer. I have fair amount of experience in operating professional high definition video cameras like Sony HVR Z1 and Sony HVR A1. I worked in many short movies including such genres like:

- comedy (Drunken Monkey Millionaire), editor;
- film noir (The Last Cigar with The Turner Brothers), second camera operator;
- thriller (Playing with Evil: the game, which never ends), cinematographer, editor, special effects;
- drama (Forgiving Your PE Teacher), assistant producer;
- documentary (Love Playground), producer, cinematographer, editor and special effects (still in production);
- directing fiction (Broken Arrows), director, editor, special effects
- fiction (Closing Doors), cinematographer
- training video (Crocodile for my Darling), producer, cinematographer, editor, special effects.

I produced also short television documentaries about Polish community in London, music video for Big Brother’s star, experimental pieces, credits for television studio, web marketing commercials. I have experience in shooting travel videos from countries like Latvia, where I was living one year creating theatre entertainment for kids, Jamaica, Italy, Tunisia, Belgium, Germany and England, where I have been living nearly for five years now. I also deal with shooting and editing wedding videos for private customers. I produced corporate video for Princess Diana Awards Fashion Show and Love Entertainment Company and I did professional style fashion photography in one of top London’s nightlife spot. Film production is always group work. I am open minded, friendly and hard working person. I am full of ideas and you will find me always enthusiastic about my work. I am looking forward to cooperate with screenwriters, actors, fashion models, other camera operators and editors. I have lots of international contacts and I am passionate about alternative political sciences, geopolitics and traveling. I’m studio owner. I use Sony HVR Z1 and HVR A1, high definition cameras for my film projects, Canon 450D for photos and the latest iMacs 2.8 Extreme. I am advanced user of Final Cut Studio 2 (Final Cut Pro, Soundtrack Pro, LiveType, Motion, Color, Compressor) and some of the latest Adobe Creative Suite 4 applications (especially After Effects CS4 and Adobe PhotoShop CS4). I cooperate with advanced music producer who uses Sibelius and the latest Logic Studio software.
